Charity is at the heart of Freemasonry

Founded in 1994 by a group of parents committed to ensuring the needs of their disabled children are met, our Trustees and Senior Leadership Team are still made up by a majority with lived experience of bringing up or living with a disabled child.

Proud Supporters of Bexley Snap

At Bexley Snap they offer disabled children and young people aged between 1 Year and 25 Years an exciting and varied programme of clubs to provide parents and carers support, guidance, and regular breaks from their caring responsibilities. We are passionate for our members to have the opportunity to improve their development and learning through structured and free play, socialising with peers and the experienced Snap Team in a nurturing, understanding and fun environment.
We also aim to help parents and carers meet others in a similar situation and to feel that they are not alone in what may be a new and emotional situation.

Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association

Widows Sons West Kent (WSWK) chapter serves to raise money for charitable causes within the Province of West Kent:
Annual Toy Run Appeal: The flagship event!  The annual ‘Toy Run’ appeal raises in excess of £3,000 annually which goes towards the purchase of toys and gifts at Christmas for disadvantaged children living within our community, bringing a little joy to the hearts of those that most deserve it at this important time of year.
SERV (Service by Emergency Response Volunteers) Kent: Part of the National Association of Blood Bikes, providing invaluable support to the NHS, Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance, and vulnerable patients within the community.  WSWK has a number of serving members (aka Blood Bikers) and regularly collects and donates money to this important charity.

The West Kent 2026 Festival is first and foremost, about trying to support the needs of the most vunerable in our communities. In order to do this, and in addition to all our other charitable activities – the West Kent Freemasons are committed to raise a target of £2,502,026 for the Masonic Charitable Fund by 2026 The West Kent 2026 Festival is now accepting Digital Donations, to make a donation, simply scan the QR code with your smart phone camera and follow the on screen instructions, or if you dont have a smart phone click the link below

The MCF provides financial support to tackle some of society’s most important issues through grants to local and national charities, and partnerships with leading organisations in the sector.
These include:
Children and Young People – Grants for supporting disadvantaged children and young people
Later Life – Grants for supporting socially isolated and lonely older people
Hospices – Grants supporting hospices across England and Wales
Funding medical research and disaster relief appeals
The West Kent Freemasons are determined to meet, and exceed, our £2.5m target – but we would really welcome all the help we can get!   If you would like to join us in achieving this challenging figure – and also having some fun along the way – please do get in touch, it would be great to have you aboard.
We all know that every generation has lived in uncertain times – our parents and grandparents will tell us that.  However, the events of recent years have reminded us that we too live in an unpredictable world – where resources and funding are always in constant demand, and come under the utmost scrutiny.
The purpose of the West Kent Freemasons raising £2.5m is simple – to provide and care for the weakest and most deserving in our communities.  Members of The West Kent Motorcycling Lodge are proud to take up that challenge – and are confident of achieving our goal.
